From the series Famous Court Cases That Became Movies, The Bounty Mutiny's author Edward Willett looks at this famous case and all the movies that it inspired, namely 'The Bounty' starring Mel Gibson. Writing Never Eat Soggy Waffles was a most memorable experience. While my memory is like an elephant's and I don't normally use mnemonics, researching and writing this title gave me new ways to remember all sorts of unrelated things without taxing my already busy brain.

Amazing Arctic Explorer Matthew Henson, part of the Amazing Americans series for grades 1-3, explores the life of the man who did expeditions to the North Pole. His findings from his North Pole expeditions were ignored for many yeard because he was African American. Very interesting story by Mary Dodson Wade, and great for young readers!
